My 3 year old daughter with down syndrome Jacqui West cheering for her achievement of walking down to get her certificate at her Early Head Start Graduation. Jacqui didnt walk until 33 months and we are all so proud of her ambition to be like the other kids in her playgroup.Mommy filled with love and tears. One of my best days ever!

My daughter, her husband and newborn baby. My daughter, Jessica, was determined to have her baby before her husband, Matt, would ship out on the cruiser Ronald Reagan. She made it! January 1, 2005 Georgia Porter was born! Her husband, Matt shipped out the next day to the Gulf. It was wonderful and very sad at the same time.

This is a photo of my little girl, Ella as she goes through the motions of learning how to ride a bike . Faced with her fears, she rests in the thought that Dad is there to help her. McDonald County highschool cheerleaders make it to Nationals!!!:) It took LOTS of hard work and determination. Along the way we made mistakes, had our disagreements and weren't always thrilled to be at practice, but we made it and it was worthwhile.
