My daughter, her husband and newborn baby. My daughter, Jessica, was determined to have her baby before her husband, Matt, would ship out on the cruiser Ronald Reagan. She made it! January 1, 2005 Georgia Porter was born! Her husband, Matt shipped out the next day to the Gulf. It was wonderful and very sad at the same time.

This is a photo of my little girl, Ella as she goes through the motions of learning how to ride a bike . Faced with her fears, she rests in the thought that Dad is there to help her. And with that thought she gets her strength and her confidence. Here's to her dad and all the dads who take the time to be one!

I think that devotion is important because if you were Shawn Johnson or some other famous person, you need to devote yourself to something and work hard you can do it. Without devotion, people wouldn't be where they were today.
