Quotes
A pessimist, they say, sees a glass as being half empty; an optimist sees the same glass as half full. But a giving person sees a glass of water and starts looking for someone who might be thirsty.
G. Donald Gale   -

Confucius  Philosopher  (551-479);
To be rich in admiration and free from envy, to rejoice greatly in the good of others, to love with such generosity of heart that your love is still a dear possession in absence or unkindness - these are the gifts which money cannot buy.
Robert Louis Stevenson Essayist, Poet, Novelist  (1850-1894);
From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.

We all can be generous in some way or another by sharing our time, talent or treasure. Don't let your lack of money keep you from helping others.

My work is that of a mystery shopper. I am paid for visiting certain businesses and conducting a shopping experience at each store. Then I file the report online and receive a payment for having done so. Many of my shops are for Sonic Drive-Ins. Since I am not able to eat all the of the food I am obligated to purchase, I choose to give much of it away. All of my Sonic purchases are given to military recruitment offices in my area. If not those, I choose fire departments, but most of the food goes to the recruiters. God Bless America!

The true value of a generous gift or act of kindness lies in direct proportion to the degree of sacrifice required.
