This is a 30x 40 inch original oil on canvas. I was asked to paint an image to be used on tee shirts, stationary, etc. for an American Cancer Society Relay for Life in the small town where I live: Havana Florida. It helped raise 64,000 from this little town for the cause. I still own the painting and it is shown in a frame shop in Tallahassee, Florida. It won Best of Show at Creative Tallahasse, City Hall, Tallahassee.FL.2006 I can send a higher resolution image if you need it

There is a profound difference between living and life. Living may extend time for another day. But life is far more than sleeping and waking. Life is more than merely existing. My friend Preslea and I volunteering our time at the local homeless shelter, Souls Harbor. We had a great time visiting with the homeless and talking about their life stories. They were so excited to get a picture together :)
