Winthrop University is very proud of the work being done at The HomeWork Clinic- a collaborative program with the Emmett Scott Recreation Center. Local first through fifth graders benefit from one-on-one tutoring and mentoring sessions provided by Winthrop University student volunteers. Tutoring and mentoring programs such as The HomeWork Clinic educate our students for responsible citizenship in ways that both deepen their education and improve the quality of community life.
