This is one of my sister's (Ajae) beautiful creations. In her own words..."I love what these two lovelies say...if everyone would respect each other's diversity, what a wonderful world it would be".

Hands_together_oil_on_canvas_june_pauline_zent

This is a 30x 40 inch original oil on canvas. I was asked to paint an image to be used on tee shirts, stationary, etc. for an American Cancer Society Relay for Life in the small town where I live: Havana Florida. It helped raise 64,000 from this little town for the cause. I still own the painting and it is shown in a frame shop in Tallahassee, Florida. It won Best of Show at Creative Tallahasse, City Hall, Tallahassee.FL.2006 I can send a higher resolution image if you need it Thank you June

Quotes
I have never been hurt by anything I didn't say.
Calvin Coolidge 30th Us President  (1872-1933);
It is worth the while to live respectably unto ourselves. We can possibly get along with a neighbor, even with a bedfellow, whom we respect but very little; but as soon as it comes to this, that we do not respect ourselves, then we do not get along at all...
Henry David Thoreau Naturalist, Author, Philosopher  (1817-1862);
For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.

Love and respect are the most important aspects of parenting, and of all relationships.

Continued success to you all for helping to re-connect us to the source of what we all can be and do, for the good of us all. My oldest daughter and I were in your bus television spot several years ago. We were quite excited in fact to become a part of what I believe to be one of the greatest ideas to pass on to future generations what is needed, in order to continue to be our best and do our best! I thank God for everyone involved taking part in this wonderful idea of teaching values and spreading them in such positive ways! Please continue on your good works! Thank you for allowing me to share!

Respect is a quality that must be carefully nurtured in relation to oneself and to others. Every individual has the capacity to treat oneself and all those in his/her environment with kindness and dignity. The world would be a better place if all humans valued respect and lived that way in their daily lives.

Respect is being understanding and kind to others who are like you, or the opposite of you. I always like to say no amount of money can buy you respect, but kindness surely can.
