My 3 year old daughter with down syndrome Jacqui West cheering for her achievement of walking down to get her certificate at her Early Head Start Graduation. Jacqui didnt walk until 33 months and we are all so proud of her ambition to be like the other kids in her playgroup.Mommy filled with love and tears. One of my best days ever!

My brother has multiple disorders, severe mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and a few other things that make him special. But if it were not for him, and children like your daughter, I would not be who I am today..these kids mean a lot to me and have inspired me to go into special education as a career. We are lucky to have them.

I think that is totally awesome. I have a 14 year old who was born with a neurological problem. Part of her brain came out. She's in a wheel chair but learning how to walk with a walker! She has such a stong spirit! Go Jacqui!! Keep up the great work!!!
