Your Everyday Hero: Jim M.

My dad is 81 years old and is a true hero. He has lost sight in one eye and hearing in one ear due to earlier medical conditions. And now fights daily against Parkinson's disease that is trying to take over his body.
Dad gets up every morning to spend his day working in his yard and garden. He says that he has to keep his body moving and his mind active to stay ahead of the Parkinson's.
He maintains a positive attitude while enduring the pain and limitations of his disease. He just keeps moving!
Dad is my inspiration and my hero!!
So whenever I have a bad day or feel achy from my arthritis, I think of my dad...and just keep moving.
