Who Is Your Hero?

Do you have a personal hero? Tell us about them. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Your Everyday Hero: John B.

John B, almost single-handedly, built the American Red Cross chapter of our community. He served in every capacity from laborer to Chairman of the Board of Directors. His skills were in such demand that he was dispatched all over the U.S. to serve and was seldom home for holidays. John never failed to answer the call to serve his nation first as a U.S. Marine and then as a Red Cross volunteer.
