Your Everyday Hero: Alfredo J.

My hero is my son Alfredo. At age 3 he was diagnosed with a mild form of autism. He barely spoke, did not look straight to your eyes, etc., etc., etc.. Now he will graduate from high school, has a prom date and is looking forward to his next years in college. Through hard work and therapies he has overcome many obstacles and is happy about his next steps in life. He never allowed autism to prevent him from pursuing his dreams. Alfredo is a very nice, caring, young man loved by everybody around him. He is an inspiration to his sisters and the pride of his parents and relatives. He is our very own HERO!!!
