That is very encouraging and I am glad that she follows her heart and does not let anyone get in the way. People can be so cruel and harsh.

Your Everyday Hero: Zoe T.

My little sister is my hero. She was born when I was two years old. At birth she was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome. She is absolutely, hands down the most amazing person I know. She has put a smile on my face every single time I've been upset. I line in the dorm at school and sometimes she will call just because. Although like most 17 year olds, she has her moments she has never failed to do what her heart has desired. She has never let anyone ever get in her way. People point, stare, and laugh; while she does notice it she doesn't care. She knows she's different but she's much more than different; she's the most amazing person I know. I truly believe that she was sent to this earth to make the world a better place because she touches the hearts everyone she meets. She also teaches us all something... that no matter what someone does or says you should always do what makes you happy.
