Your Everyday Hero: American Red Cross

I spent the last 2 weeks serving on the disaster relief operation for Hurricane Ike. While this is not my first with the ARC, I stand in awe of the tireless dedication of many other volunteers.

Some of these have spent a significant portion of their life serving their country in times of disaster. One such gentlemen was on his 157th national relief operation.
