Who Is Your Hero?

Your Everyday Hero: Matt H.

They say you can't please everyone, but my hero is of a most rare magic. Matt, who is a devoted husband and father of four, not only goes out of his way to provide for his family; he goes the extra mile for his friends also. I am the best example of this since not long ago I went through the most trying times of my life. Despite his demanding work schedule and family responsibilities, Matt fought my battles and gave me a new outlook on life. He was my shoulder to cry on and my rock. He stood behind me, pushing me to succeed and guiding me every step of the way. He is my friend, my brother, and the hero I always wanted to look up to. My next challenge in life is one he won't be able to assist me with: to figure out why life has been so good to me by bringing him along, since I can't recall doing anything so great as to deserve his friendship.
