Share A Story NowI have always been the "big girl". I sky rocket above all girls and some boys. I'm built bigger and compared to every one else I'm an amazon woman. Just to add, I've never been the best at anything. In school there are always kids smarter than me, and in sports, well let's just say I'm very uncoordinated. In 6th grade I joined athletics. The first day we were given a speech that made about 1/4th of the girls quit. I begged my parents to let me quit, but it was to no prevail. Everyday we would run 2 or so miles. I could barely run one lap. My coaches pushed me, until finally I wasn't the last girl anymore. I was so proud of myself, but I seemed to be the only one to notice. One day the coaches made all of the off-season and the volley ball girls sit in the middle of the gym, like they did every few days to tell us of news and such. I remember one day more then any, because that day I was noticed. My coach, someone I looked up to more then my own mother, recognized me! He told every one how he was proud of me for my accomplishments. Everyone clapped for me. That day the "big girl" was noticed for more then just being "big".
