The Perfect Note

Colorado. A state of skiing, snowboarding, hiking and many great activities. But who would have known I would fall for something so different. The great magic of music. I was in fifth grade, trying to decide what I would fit in with. The P.E group, or the dance girls or even maybe the track team. I had moved many times before and never really had time in any state to figure out who I was. I found band was an elective choice so I joined. Clarinet was my first love. I wasn't good at first but I didn't let it stop me. I tried to be the best I could to make me happy. I moved later that year back to Texas which was my favorite place I had lived before. I met my inspiration. My band director, Mr. Bueno. He loved his job so much. I had a hard time letting go of my crazy past, but music set me free. It made my tears go away and it also brought tears to my eyes. Music was more to me than anything. It was what I breathed. I eventually got really good. It was very hard though, my family didn't care for music, I dreamed, I dreamed and I dreamed. I'm only 13, but I don't just listen to music, it listens to me when the world shuts me out.
