Friendship and Forgiveness

Sometimes you have to forgive people for their mistakes. A long time ago, my friend Jessica betrayed me. She started hanging out with some girls that were really mean to me. Every day I would walk up to her and say hello and she would ignore me. One day these girls starting saying very mean things about me and she was laughing and going along with them. Since Jessica was being really mean, I started making new friends. Jessica started to notice too. Jessica had a birthday party and she posted it all over Facebook. I wasn’t invited to her party, but her new friends were invited. I was really devastated. One day at school, me and my friends were at lunch laughing and having fun. Jessica was with her friends too. One day Jessica had asked to come over my house. I said yes because I had really missed her. When she got to my house, we did homework together. When we were done with homework, she looked in my pantry and got some chips. Jessica then left. I started to think that she had just came to use me. The next day, Jessica’s “friends” weren’t at school. She had no one to hang with. She walked up and apologized for her behavior. I forgave her and now we are really good friends.
