I am an author of several Poetry Books titled "Poetic Journey", "Journey of Thoughts," and "Journey Within".

Our poetry is written for all ages, especially our youth. Our poems encourage constructive thinking, teach values and lessons, and demonstrate positive reactions to different emotions all in a rhyming fashion. I would like to share the following poem.

Honesty

What better quality in a person to see
Than someone who possesses honesty

Now honesty isn’t hard to acquire
It is one virtue that all do admire
Honesty is simply telling the truth
No matter what you did or said

And when you’re honest
You do not steal
You work for what you want
And that’s for real

How can I have honesty
One may ask
It’s easy to acquire
A very simple task

But first you must
Obtain some pride
Do things which make you feel good
Deep, deep down inside

Yet, none of these tasks
Can be achieved
If you don’t have faith
Or at least believe

In yourself as well as someone else
For when others trust you
It’s easy to see
Why it’s so important
To have honesty
