Thank you for sharing. The joy that comes from children is one you sometimes forget when you don't have any little ones around. You made me laugh, Thanks.

Butterflies and 'bosquitos'

Spending the night with my daughter and her family is always quite an experience. The last time I spent the night in a twin bed in the room with my three year old grandson. Since he had a nap earlier in the day, he wasn't the least bit sleepy when his mom decided that it was bedtime for everyone. He climbed on and off my bed, his bed, and his brother's bed. His pillow didn't fit along with mine on my bed so his pillow won and we shared it for awhile. He told me all about SpongeBob who is this yellow sponge that lives in the water with his friend Patrick. Patrick is a pink starfish and they are both boys. He explained about crabby patties and a few other things. By this time, all I wanted was a little sleep, so I began to suggest that we might be getting sleepy. He wasn't. Even if he was, he had more to tell me...and after he described the butterflies that don't bite and the "bosquitos" that do, I was laughing so much that I forgot to be sleepy, too.
