To those who feel that faith is not a value but a religous ideal: Faith is a value that is not strictly religous. We can have faith in hunamity, that people are good at heart and will do the right thing. Do have faith in your spouse? your children? your friends?

My husband and I just love to see the commercial with the little boy walking in the cement and the older gentleman spreading it so smooth. It is just adorable. Who is your sponsor -- a church group, individuals, or what? Whatever or whoever it is -- you've really hit on something. Of course when I was growing up, all these values just came naturally or what was beaten into you by your Daddy. Anyway, keep up the good work and God Bless.

If people around have forgotten how to be good, please show them how.

I noticed that you do not list individualism. Individualism is the basis of all values. If one does not value the individual as supreme for their own sake, how is it even possible to respect them and treat them in the light of all the values you list? No group can practice any value higher than that instilled in each of its individual members. Each individual is compassionate. Each individual achieves. Each individual produces. Each individual provides inspiration. Each individual is charitable. Each individual is irreplaceable. The individual is the root of all values.

See the good through the day. Who is not to say the anxious person is not in a hurry to help a sick one, or had just received bad news. Try to see the good in a negative situation or person.

In response to those who claim FAITH is not a value: you jumped to the conclusion that it only has a religious connection. Have you ever had FAITH in your own ability to accomplish something that seemed impossible?

I was very surprised not to see tolerance on your list. Tolerance of others beliefs and values, even when they don't reflect your own, is sorely lacking in this world. It would go a long way towards people learning to live, work and share together. Lack of tolerance is what leads to terrorism, bullying, fascism, suicide and death.

I suggest "have a dream" with Martin Luther King as a role model. Also "forgiveness and reconciliation" with Nelson Mandela as a role model.

We have FAITH in everything we do. It takes faith to take risks, to do something innovative, and to change the world.

To Kathleen: We should treat others the way that THEY want to be treated! This is "The Platinum Rule."

Everyone that thinks 'faith' is a value really needs to reflect on their purpose within humanity not religion.

Please add humility to your list of values. Without humility one is unteachable.

I second Olivier - Faith is indeed NOT a value.

Please consider adding "Civility" to your your list of values. In many ways, your list of values are actually traits of being civil. You TV commercials paint the picture of a civil society.

Money, in reality, is not important. But our freedom and the freedom for our children means everything.

Attitude can make or break anyone from moving forward in life. A poor attitude can be a disability - attitudability is the ability to create positive experiences in one's life.

I think my last email was vaporized mid-way through. Could you set it up so we could vote for, say, a "top 5"? Just one is really difficult [there is some way to tally this kind of voting--something like 5 votes for a 1st place pick, 4 for what they picked to be second, etc.]

Why is faith front and center and huge; what exactly does faith imply - faith in what; what is "faith" to each individual?

I was surprised that I could not find "love" in the values cloud, as it encompasses most, if not all, of the other values given. Where there's love, there's kindness, honor, service, selflessness, understanding, etc. Please add LOVE. Thank you!
